Last weekend, the SMK-SPORT boxing club in Kharkiv held joint training sessions in the form of a 12-round marathon. The club's trainees and representatives of the boxing section operating in the village of Horkoho in the Kharkiv region came together.
Both the sports club and the boxing section operate thanks to the Denys Paramonov Foundation.
"We are actually one team, but we train in different places. That's why we decided to bring together boxers from Kharkiv and children from the village of Horkoho," says Ruslan Holovenko, boxing coach at SMK-SPORT. "The boys trained for 12 rounds of conditional and free fights. This training was very important for our students. It gives them a lot of experience when they enter the ring with unknown opponents. This is necessary for them to compete in the future."
Currently, the representatives of the two boxing clubs operating under the auspices of the Denys Paramonov Foundation are getting better and better in the ring. They are already being invited to compete in other cities.
