The OUR FOLKS project is primarily aimed at helping those who are in trouble and cannot cope with difficulties on their own.
The Foundation supports residents of the de-occupied territories and settlements located near the demarcation line, assistance has already been provided to more than 16000 families in Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions.
In April 2023, the Foundation opened a hotline for those in need. All applications are being registered and lists of applicants are being made up. First of all, assistance is provided to the most vulnerable categories of the population: the elderly, the poor, single mothers and fathers, large families, and caregivers. Each trip to de-occupied settlements is coordinated with the local military administration. You can call 0 800 334 594 on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The project also supports healthcare institutions of Ukraine. Thanks to the partnership with international organizations, 750 hospitals in 21 regions of Ukraine were supplied with modern equipment: in Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Poltava, Lviv, Sumy, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Kirovohrad , Odesa, Ternopil, Volyn and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Healthcare institutions received modern hardware for monitoring patients’ health condition, cardiac monitors, ultrasound and X-ray machines, orthopedic and surgical sets, other medical equipment, and consumables. An MRI machine was delivered to one of the hospitals in Donetsk Region, the sort of equipment which had never been available in the entire region before.
During 2025, the Foundation organized tactical medicine training courses that help people save lives in dangerous situations. More than 500 representatives of critical professions completed the training, including police officers, rescue workers, and municipal service employees. Educators from Kharkiv also joined the Foundation’s initiative.
In Mykolaiv, various workshops are regularly organized for the children of prisoners of war thanks to the cooperation between the Foundation and the Regional Consultation Center of the Coordination Headquarters within the framework of the “People of the Future” programme. These activities allow children to take their minds off everyday difficulties and socialize with their peers.
In the autumn of 2025, the Foundation launched the “Forest of Kindness” initiative. The main goal of this project is to increase green spaces, which not only improves the environment but also brings people together around a common cause. Anyone interested can contribute to improving nature by receiving seedlings of various trees. The large-scale greening campaign began in the city of Zmiiv in the Kharkiv region, where its own “Forest of Kindness” has already appeared in the central park.
The Foundation also helps address the issue of stray dogs. At the request of volunteers in Bohodukhiv, ten large enclosures for dogs were built. The structures are made of high-quality wood and comply with the required standards. Here, the animals undergo all necessary treatment and care, after which new owners are found for them.
In February and March 2026, during prolonged power outages in Kharkiv, the Foundation together with its reliable partner SMK Group provided nearly 6,000 portions of hot meals for residents of the Nemyshlianskyi district who needed them most. For people with limited mobility, hot meals were delivered to their homes by social workers. In addition, the Foundation supplied a high-capacity generator to a Point of Invincibility located at Lyceum №160 in the Nemyshlianskyi district. The educational institution also serves as a food distribution point, and without a generator food preparation would have been impossible, since most kitchen stoves and ovens are electric. Furthermore, the Foundation fully financed the installation of a powerful inverter and battery system at the Point of Invincibility located in the Administrative Service Center of the Hrebinka community in the Kyiv region.
Ours
These include police officers, emergency responders, educators, and employees of various public services across the Kharkiv region.
Ours
Together with its partners, the Foundation provided hospitals in Sumy and Chernihiv regions with everything they needed, where there is currently a great demand for medical consumables and various types of equipment. The Foundation also organized a series of first aid courses at Trolleybus Depot №3 in Kharkiv. During the training, participants learned how to provide effective first aid before an ambulance arrives: how to properly apply a medical tourniquet, stop massive bleeding, and respond when an injured person has a fractured limb. In addition, during the summer season, specialists from the EAST Tactical Medical Center teach participants how to save a person from drowning.
Ours
According to the enterprise’s director, Oleh Boldyriev, it would have been difficult for them to organize first aid training on their own. Therefore, the depot’s management and employees are grateful to the Foundation for this initiative, which helps save lives.
Ours
Once again, instructors from the EAST Tactical Medical Center are teaching transport workers how to respond in critical situations when a person suddenly feels unwell or suffers serious injuries or trauma.
Ours
Experienced specialists from the EAST Tactical Medical Center have already trained dozens of the company’s employees, and this work continues. Unfortunately, not everyone today understands how to properly apply a tourniquet after an injury, which is why special attention is paid to this aspect during the courses. The ability to stop massive bleeding is also an extremely valuable skill in today’s circumstances.
Ours
For the third time, employees of Trolleybus Depot №3 in Kharkiv have been learning how to help injured people before medical professionals arrive.
