These include police officers, emergency responders, educators, and employees of various public services across the Kharkiv region.

Over the past month, five training sessions were held for employees of Trolleybus Depot №3 in Kharkiv.

The transport workers learned how to respond in critical situations when an injured person requires immediate first aid.

During the training, specialists from the EAST Tactical Medical Center placed special emphasis on teaching participants how to properly apply a tourniquet.

Today, all trolleybus drivers in Kharkiv are equipped with tourniquets and now know how to use them effectively.

They also learned how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and other life-saving procedures.

Together with its partners, the Foundation provided hospitals in Sumy and Chernihiv regions with everything they needed, where there is currently a great demand for medical consumables and various types of equipment. The Foundation also organized a series of first aid courses at Trolleybus Depot №3 in Kharkiv. During the training, participants learned how to provide effective first aid before an ambulance arrives: how to properly apply a medical tourniquet, stop massive bleeding, and respond when an injured person has a fractured limb. In addition, during the summer season, specialists from the EAST Tactical Medical Center teach participants how to save a person from drowning.
