Medical equipment donated by Denys Paramonov Foundation put into operation at L.T. Malaya Institute in Kharkiv

Recently, the Denys Paramonov Foundation responded to the request of the management of the L.T. Malaya Therapy National Institute of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, located in Kharkiv, by donating expensive equipment to the medical institution.

“This equipment has already been accepted into the balance sheet of the Institute and has begun to provide assistance to patients. The intensive care unit of the institution is now equipped with the latest medical technology. We have already supplied more than 650 hospitals with high-quality medical equipment, and we will not stop there.” - in the Denys Paramonov Foundation noted.

Thanks to the Foundation, the ICU of the L.T. Malaya Institute now has two oxygen concentrators, a defibrillator monitor and a portable electrocardiograph. The cost of all the equipment is around 300,000 UAH.

The Foundation has been cooperating with SMK Group for a long time, including by providing regular medical check-ups for its employees. Recently, an employee working as a loader at the «Saltivskyi Meat Processing Plant» at a production site located in the city of Bohodukhiv was diagnosed with aortic valve stenosis with insufficiency. Doctors insisted that surgery was necessary. The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation joined the treatment process. The aortic valve replacement surgery was personally performed by Borys Todurov, Director General of the Heart Institute.
