Ukrainian libraries will soon be stocked with a new book about Hryhorii Skovoroda, published thanks to Denys Paramonov Foundation

As part of the "100 Books for 100 Libraries of Ukraine" programme initiated by the Denys Paramonov Foundation, the country's libraries will soon be stocked with a new book about the eminent Ukrainian philosopher Hryhorii Skovoroda.

The book 'Skovoroda in the City of Wisdom Zacharpolis' was published at the initiative of the Foundation in a new edition of 500 copies. Andrii Paramonov, a well-known researcher of the history of Sloboda Ukraine, is the author of the book, which tells about the little-known life and creative path of Hryhorii Skovoroda.

The book pays special attention to Hryhorii Skovoroda's stay in Kharkiv, where he first appeared in 1759. Since then, Skovoroda has been associated with this wonderful city for many years. For instance, the engravings and drawings in the book clearly show many places in Kharkiv that Hryhorii Skovoroda visited," - in the Denys Paramonov Foundation noted.
