Kharkiv Children's Rehabilitation Centre renovates shelter thanks to Denys Paramonov Foundation
At the request of the management of the to the Regional Clinical Centre of Medical Rehabilitation and Palliative Care for Children ‘Hippocrates’, the Denys Paramonov Foundation equipped a shelter in the basement of the institution.
First, the walls and ceiling were plastered and painted.
We also made special handrails to go down to the shelter, because the children who undergo rehabilitation here need support when moving around.
"The repairs we funded cost almost 290,000 UAH and enabled us to put the basement of the Hippocrates Rehabilitation Centre in order. This is very important because the Centre is home to children with cerebral palsy and other congenital disabilities. They need qualified help from specialists to adapt to everyday life. Now, the basement of the Centre has all the conditions to allow any rehabilitation procedures to be carried out there during air raids," - in the Foundation noted.
