Recently, one of the NGOs of the Krasnokutsk community in Kharkiv region asked the Denys Paramonov Foundation to support its project to preserve and develop the cultural heritage of the area.
The organization's volunteers make Ukrainian dolls from fabrics that have been popular in the Kharkiv region since ancient times.
"Our Foundation has always supported the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage not only of the Kharkiv region, but of Ukraine as a whole. This is part of the Cultural_Code programme. Therefore, we were happy to respond to the request of the volunteers, who received 100,000 UAH for the purchase of materials for making dolls" - in the Denys Paramonov Foundation noted.
Incidentally, these dolls were very popular with philanthropists from Italy, who have repeatedly helped the Krasnokutsk community, whose representatives handed over Ukrainian dolls to their Italian friends as part of the cultural dialogue between Ukraine and Italy.
Some of the dolls were even presented during the Ukrainian delegation's audience with the Pope.
