The Open Junior and Youth Rowing Championship of Bila Tserkva brought together around 80 participants from all over Kyiv region, as well as from Kharkiv region.
Boys and girls aged 12 to 16 competed in kayak and canoe races, vying for a place on the regional team to represent their clubs at the National Youth Sports Schools Championship.
The event also featured races on stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) and Dragon Boats.
Particularly noteworthy were the impressive performances of young athletes from the Bila Tserkva Rowing School, which is fully supported by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation. The school’s facilities were completely renovated through the Foundation's efforts.
“The competition was intense, with every participant eager to show their best. Naturally, the performances of these young rowers left a lasting impression on the local audience. For Bila Tserkva, this tournament was a significant event. Developing youth sports is one of our top priorities. That’s why we donated new equipment to the students of the Bila Tserkva Rowing School, including modern Dragon Boats.”- in the Foundation stated.

Last year, the Foundation also contributed to this important initiative. In just a few days, around 40 children will travel from Kharkiv to a picturesque mountainous area in the Lviv region, where they will take part in a psychophysical rehabilitation program.

At present, this is extremely important, as representatives of the housing and utility sector, especially members of emergency response teams, regularly respond to calls in critical situations.
