Thanks to the Denys Paramonov Foundation, officers of the Kharkiv Region State Emergency Service were able to attend tactical medical courses held by specialists from the EAST Tactical Medical Center.
"Today, more and more rescuers are regularly attending tactical medical courses, as it significantly improves their skills. The SES fighters are usually the first to arrive at the scene of various critical situations and therefore need to provide immediate assistance to all victims. That is why it is so important to train rescuers in new first aid techniques, which is what we are currently organizing." - the Foundation notes.
One of the main factors in helping victims is stopping bleeding, and the tactical medical courses teach them how to do this effectively. Helping those who fall through the ice is also a priority, so the courses teach SES personnel how to resuscitate a drowning victim. It is important that all first aid techniques are practiced, not just in theory. At the end of the course, all the rescuers received the relevant certificates.
Sport
This will allow them to prepare thoroughly for the upcoming European Boxing Championships.

Last year, the Foundation also contributed to this important initiative. In just a few days, around 40 children will travel from Kharkiv to a picturesque mountainous area in the Lviv region, where they will take part in a psychophysical rehabilitation program.
Ours
At present, this is extremely important, as representatives of the housing and utility sector, especially members of emergency response teams, regularly respond to calls in critical situations.
