See what good deeds the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation has been up to in June (VIDEO)
The first month of summer was filled with meaningful actions for the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation.
A significant part of the efforts was made under the ¬HEALTHY programme. The Foundation donated vital medical equipment — a special monitor and an endovideocamera worth 300,000 UAH — to Hospital №18 in Kharkiv to support surgical procedures. This equipment will help save even more lives. Besides, we visited the Kharkiv Regional Children's Hospital, where we organized entertainment for young patients. An animator and thoughtful gifts brought joy and encouragement to the children undergoing treatment. Since the beginning of the year, the Foundation has already provided hospitals across Ukraine with medical equipment worth over 1.5 million UAH.
The sports direction of the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation also saw great progress in June. For instance, the “SMK-SPORT” club, based in the village of Shchaslyve, celebrated its second anniversary. A festive concert was held at the local Palace of Culture to mark the occasion. Notably, thanks to the Foundation, all sports programs for children at the club are completely free. In addition, a new football field was opened in Shchaslyve — capable of hosting regional-level competitions. The initiative to build this modern sports facility came from philanthropist Denys Paramonov. The new field has already become a local landmark — even hosting a match of the Kharkiv Region Football Championship. In June, FC “NIKA SMK” played three matches in the regional championship. The team, whose president is Denys Paramonov, currently holds a leading position in the Kharkiv Region football standings.
We gifted new uniforms to the young football team “Alfa” from Shevchenkove village, helping them enhance their training and prepare for future victories. Meanwhile, the children from the Tkachеnko Youth Sports School in Izium are now training on a fully renovated football field, restored thanks to the Foundation. The upgraded turf now meets all necessary standards. In addition, we provided sports equipment for the students of the Kharkiv Professional College of Sports, and young rowers from Bila Tserkva, whose training school is supported by the Foundation, took part in national competitions. We proudly support the SMK Fishing team, which won prize places in recent competitions in the Kharkiv region. There’s more to celebrate from the “SMK-SPORT” boxing club — also funded by the Foundation. Boxer Khrystyna Yushchuk gave a strong performance at the King’s Cup in Thailand, and the club’s young fighters secured several victories at tournaments held in Sumy and Poltava regions. In addition, Hanna Okhota from “SMK-SPORT” completed training camps in preparation for upcoming competitions.
In June, the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation allocated 50,000 UAH to support the educational needs of students and teachers in the Shevchenkivskyi District of Kharkiv. We also contributed to the continued operation of the Kharkiv Marriage Palace, ensuring that this cultural institution remains active. In addition, the Foundation funded transportation for 43 children from Bohodukhiv to attend a summer camp in the Carpathians.
