The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation regularly supports the “Heart Institute,” providing it with high-value equipment that the medical institution is unable to purchase on its own. Such cooperation between the Foundation and the Institute makes it possible to save patients’ lives every day.
Thanks to the nearly 5 million UAH allocated last year by the Foundation together with SMK Group for the purchase of a Japanese-made video gastroscope and video bronchoscope for the “Heart Institute,” it is now possible to conduct high-quality diagnostics and further treatment of seriously ill patients. In addition, the Foundation also helped purchase defibrillators for the Institute and supplied consumables, since no surgery can be performed without them
“Doctors are working overtime, and today the medical institutions are under enormous strain. That’s why we must help hospitals with everything they need, because healthy citizens mean the further development of our country. The ‘Heart Institute’ is a flagship of Ukrainian cardiology and cardiac surgery, but even such a renowned medical institution cannot independently afford expensive equipment. That’s why we step in to help. It so happens that today this burden falls on philanthropists, but all of this is for the resilience of Ukraine,” - Denys Paramonov, philanthropist and founder of the eponymous charity foundation noted.
In turn, the General Director of the “Heart Institute,” Borys Todurov, emphasized how important it is today that philanthropists contribute to covering hospitals’ needs.
“For us, it is very important to feel the support of sponsors, and one of them is Denys Paramonov, who has supported us since the very beginning of the full-scale war. We have already received quite a lot — equipment and consumables. We are very grateful for such support, because without sponsorship it is very difficult for hospitals to survive today. Once again, thank you not only from us but also from our patients who benefit from this assistance.” - Borys Todurov noted.
It is worth noting that the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation has entered the TOP 5 largest charitable organizations in Ukraine that provide hospitals with everything they need.
