Children whose parents are in captivity learned how to make a cake and waffles — an event made possible with the support of the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation

The kids took part in a cooking class held in a professional kitchen equipped with everything needed to create delicious treats. This time, experienced chefs taught them how to prepare a Croquembouche cake and Belgian waffles.

Now the children know the entire process of making these culinary masterpieces — from mixing the dough to the finer points of decoration. This workshop helped the kids forget about today’s challenges, at least for a little while.

The event took place within the framework of the “People of the Future” project, implemented by the Regional Consultation Center of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War — with the support of the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation.

These include boxers training at SMK-SPORT clubs in Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Sumy, and the village of Shchaslyve in Kharkiv Region, as well as athletes from the rowing school in Bila Tserkva, which was revived and is fully funded by the Foundation.

The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation continues to organize a series of first aid classes for employees of Kharkiv’s housing and utilities sector

This is primarily needed to ensure that as many employees of the city’s various municipal enterprises as possible know the basics of providing first aid to people injured in critical situations.
