In Bohodukhiv, new enclosures for stray dogs have been created with the support of the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation
Here, animals can receive medical treatment and rehabilitation when needed.
There are 10 large wooden enclosures located on a fenced area — all construction work was carried out with funding from the Foundation.
Currently, the stray dogs are undergoing deworming, and rabies vaccinations will be provided later.
«After volunteer Tetiana Pylypenko approached us with this request, we immediately got involved, making the dogs’ stay at the shelter as comfortable as possible. This initiative is also supported by the rector of the Holy Spirit Church in the city of Bohodukhiv, Archpriest Stefan Buhir. Once the dogs have completed all necessary medical procedures, volunteers plan to find new homes for them so that every dog has a caring owner. In fact, this is a significant step toward addressing the issue of stray dogs in Bohodukhiv, and we fully support its solution», — the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation noted.
