Maryna Shevchenko, a boxer from the SMK-SPORT boxing club, is competing in an A-class international tournament in Spain

The BOXAM ESPAÑA ELITE competition started on February 3 and has brought together top female boxers from around the world, including athletes from China, Slovenia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, India, Spain, England, Ireland, and the Netherlands.

As a member of the Ukrainian national team, Maryna Shevchenko carefully prepared for this tournament, completing a training camp in Spain. During her preparation, she held a series of sparring sessions with representatives of the participating teams, demonstrating her skill and strong character.

«So, we are keeping our fingers crossed for our boxer and following her bouts! We are doing our best to support Maryna Shevchenko in her successful performances at the competition», — the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, which fully funds the SMK-SPORT sports club, said.

The Foundation has been cooperating with SMK Group for a long time, including by providing regular medical check-ups for its employees. Recently, an employee working as a loader at the «Saltivskyi Meat Processing Plant» at a production site located in the city of Bohodukhiv was diagnosed with aortic valve stenosis with insufficiency. Doctors insisted that surgery was necessary. The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation joined the treatment process. The aortic valve replacement surgery was personally performed by Borys Todurov, Director General of the Heart Institute.
