Thanks to philanthropist Denys Paramonov, the Heart Institute has now received a state-of-the-art U.S.-made ultrasound machine. It costs over 2 million UAH and is one of the best diagnostic devices on the market. This equipment will make it possible to conduct highly accurate examinations of the Institute’s patients, ensuring more effective treatment. The management of the medical institution thanked Denys Paramonov for such a valuable gift, noting that the need for ultrasound machines is extremely high. In addition, philanthropist Denys Paramonov provided powerful EcoFlow charging stations to children’s hospitals in various cities across Ukraine. These include the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospitals in Mykolaiv and Kharkiv, the “Healthy Family” Territorial Medical Association in Zaporizhzhia, and the Dnipro Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital. Moreover, during his visit to the Heart Institute, Denys Paramonov also donated a charging station to the institution’s intensive care unit.

Over the past two years, the Foundation has supplied the Cardiology Center in Kyiv with various types of medical equipment worth 750,000 UAH. This equipment is already saving the lives of patients who come from all over the country. The latest delivery to the cardiology center included syringe pumps and X-ray protective glasses for doctors. Besides, the Sumy St. Zinaida Children’s Hospital received cutting-edge equipment from the Foundation. The facility now has a high-quality automatic lensmeter and a retinoscope for its ophthalmology department. Assistance was also provided to equip the X-ray room at the Hippocrates Rehabilitation Center in Kharkiv. For this purpose, the Foundation purchased doors for the room, protective clothing for patients to prevent excessive radiation exposure during diagnostic procedures, as well as construction materials for further renovation of the facility. In turn, the L. Malaya Therapy National Institute was supplied with stocks of hygiene products, while Hospital № 31 in Kharkiv received food supplies.

The sports sector was also actively developing in January. A training camp was organized in Tysovets, Lviv Region, for children who train at the Bila Tserkva rowing school, which is fully funded by the Foundation. The young rowers had the opportunity to go skiing and take part in various training sessions to prepare for the upcoming on-water season. At the request of the management of the Burevisnyk Children and Youth Sports School in Kyiv, the Foundation provided the facility with a powerful diesel generator to ensure uninterrupted electricity, heating, and water supply. Boxers from SMK-SPORT, Hanna Okhota and Maryna Shevchenko, began their preparation for competitions. First, they completed a training camp in Horishni Plavni, and in February the athletes will compete in Class A international tournaments in Spain and Bulgaria. Prior to that, they will also attend additional training camps abroad.

Young boxers from SMK-SPORT clubs achieved a series of victories at competitions in Kharkiv. Mykyta Chepurnykh and Danylo Murzin, representing SMK-SPORT Kharkiv and training under coach Ruslan Holovenko, won gold medals. The Bohodukhiv branch of the club, led by coach Yevhen Bets, was represented by Herman Chepurnyi and Yan Chumak, who also claimed first place finishes. Finally, SMK-SPORT representative Yaroslav Rudenko from the settlement of Shchaslyve, coached by Artem Yevdokymov, also won a gold medal. Handball players of Halychanka, a team sponsored by the Foundation, played their matches in the ORLEN Superliga Kobiet. In dynamic and exciting games, the Lviv team fought until the final whistle, demonstrating all of their skill and determination.

Culinary master classes were held in Mykolaiv for families of prisoners of war. Children learned how to make walnut-shaped cookies, while women prepared filled pastry baskets. These activities allowed both adults and children to take a break, at least for a while, from the challenges of everyday life. The events were organized in cooperation with the Regional Center of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

In Bohodukhiv, the Foundation built and handed over to volunteers 10 large wooden enclosures for stray dogs. Here, the animals undergo treatment and receive the necessary vaccinations, and in the future, new owners will be sought for them. All the dogs have the opportunity to roam freely within a specially fenced area.

The book “Muravskyi Way” is now available online on the Foundation’s website. Last year, additional print runs of the book were produced to supply as many libraries across the country as possible. However, the number of requests from libraries was so high that it was decided to provide online access to the publication.
