At the Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Mykola Lysenko, audiences can enjoy the renewed ballet Chopiniana

This enchanting performance has become possible thanks to the support of the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation as part of the Cultural_Code programme.

The performance captivates true ballet lovers, as the updated version of Chopiniana, presented by choreographer Antonina Radiievska, fully meets the modern standards of ballet art. The essence of a Woman is portrayed with remarkable clarity — her relationships with men and the emotions she experiences through them. In the second act, the Woman appears more earthly and vulnerable, with all her inner emotions and struggles, yet no less beautiful because of them. The soloists of the Kharkiv Opera deliver a brilliant performance on stage. The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation has been a long-term partner of the Kharkiv Opera, helping bring the theater’s finest productions to life.

The Burevisnyk Children and Youth Sports School of Academic Rowing is located in the capital, where it trains future athletes for the Kyiv and Ukrainian national teams.
