The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation organized a series of first aid training sessions for employees of Kharkiv’s housing and utility sector

At present, this is extremely important, as representatives of the housing and utility sector, especially members of emergency response teams, regularly respond to calls in critical situations.

Thus, the skills they acquire will help them provide the first necessary aid to victims on site, if needed, even before an ambulance arrives.

The first aid training sessions are conducted by experienced instructors from the EAST Tactical Medical Center.

They teach participants how to effectively use medical tourniquets to stop bleeding.

The training also covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), when the time available to save a victim is measured in minutes.

All of these skills can also be useful in everyday life, as no one is immune to various injuries, including broken limbs.

During the course, participants also learn how to provide first aid correctly in such cases.
