This will help ensure the uninterrupted provision of essential medical care to children and adults with heart defects. Every year, the Heart Institute’s experienced specialists save thousands of lives by performing highly complex surgeries. Therefore, the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation remains a reliable, long-standing partner of the Institute. This spring, the Foundation provided the medical facility with a CATSmart system for continuous autotransfusion of blood during and after surgeries, which effectively cleans the patient’s blood. Previously, the Foundation also provided the Heart Institute with a video gastroscope and video bronchoscope worth approximately 5 million UAH, as well as an ultrasound machine worth more than 2 million UAH. An EcoFlow power station was also provided to the medical facility’s intensive care unit.
