Thanks to the partnership between the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, SMK Group, and the Heart Institute, lives of Ukrainians can be saved
The Foundation has been cooperating with SMK Group for a long time, including by providing regular medical check-ups for its employees. Recently, an employee working as a loader at the «Saltivskyi Meat Processing Plant» at a production site located in the city of Bohodukhiv was diagnosed with aortic valve stenosis with insufficiency. Doctors insisted that surgery was necessary. The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation joined the treatment process. The aortic valve replacement surgery was personally performed by Borys Todurov, Director General of the Heart Institute.
The Heart Institute is one of Ukraine’s leading medical institutions performing such surgeries. The Foundation and SMK Group have been supporting it for many years, including by providing modern, high-cost medical equipment. Every year, more than 100,000 diagnostic examinations of the cardiovascular system are carried out at the Heart Institute, as well as more than 6,000 heart surgeries.
