Young athletes from the "SMK-SPORT" boxing club in Sumy claimed prize-winning places at a tournament held in Poltava. The event was the Open Boxing Tournament dedicated to Oleksii Butovskyi — one of the founders of the modern Olympic movement.
The tournament, which brought together youth sports schools from across Ukraine, was held in Uman, in the Cherkasy region. Thirteen young rowers represented the Bila Tserkva school, competing among participants from over 40 different youth sports schools.
Recently, the city of Horishni Plavni hosted the All-Ukrainian Boxing Tournament in memory of Volodymyr Martynenko, which brought together junior and youth athletes aged 11 to 16.
