Denys Paramonov: Hanna Okhota’s World Cup Bronze Proves «SMK-SPORT» Athletes Are True Champions

Ukrainian national team boxer Hanna Okhota won a bronze medal at the World Cup in India. The athlete is a trainee of the SMK-SPORT boxing club, which is funded by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation.

Young boxers from the «SMK-SPORT» club won medals at the Kharkiv Region Championship among boys and girls born in 2012–2013

The trainees of the «SMK-SPORT» Kharkiv club, coached by Ruslan Holovenko, performed confidently in the ring and were among the best in their age group. Arthur Kulikov won the gold medal, becoming a three-time regional champion. Artem Kurchenko, in turn, earned a silver medal. Another «SMK-SPORT» representative, Yaroslav Rudenko from the village of Shchaslyve, won gold as well, demonstrating excellent skill — he is coached by Artem Yevdokymov.

The children’s football team «Alpha» took second place in the regional tournament of Kharkiv region. The young players are supported by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation

The footballers from the Shevchenkivska community performed very well in the tournament, achieving a series of victories. Representatives of the Foundation presented the children with sweets and congratulated them on their excellent results. Earlier, the «Alpha» team had been provided with sports uniforms and equipment. In addition, the Foundation presented the team with a power station so that the children could continue training in their special gym even during power outages.

Revival of the Rowing School at the Zmina Youth Sports School in Bila Tserkva: How It Operates

The rowing school at the «Zmina» Youth Sports School in Bila Tserkva has become a prime example of how, in just two years, one of the city’s most beloved sports can be revived. In the autumn of 2023, the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation gave—without exaggeration—a second life to rowing in the Kyiv region. Today, dozens of children of various ages practice this sport in Bila Tserkva completely free of charge thanks to the Foundation. Over these two years, the students of the rowing school at «Zmina» have won dozens of medals of various levels at regional and national competitions, and each new tournament brings even more awards to Bila Tserkva’s rowers. Today, the school is hosting an Open Day. Come and see with your own eyes how dreams can become reality!
