Second place in the Ukrainian Boxing Cup for Khrystyna Yushchuk, a boxer from SMK-SPORT club in Sumy

The Ukrainian Boxing Cup among men and women took place in Rivne. Almost 190 athletes competed for medals. Khrystyna Yushchuk, representing the SMK-SPORT boxing club in Sumy, which operates thanks to the Denys Paramonov Foundation, took part in the female competition.

Khrystyna fought three powerful bouts against very strong opponents, eventually taking second place.

"Congratulations to Khrystyna Yushchuk on her successful performance at the Ukrainian Boxing Cup. These are high level competitions and everyone dreams of winning medals in them. The representative of the SMK-SPORT boxing club in Sumy proved her class and showed her colleagues that it is worth training for prizes at various competitions," - in the Denys Paramonov Foundation noted.

The Foundation has been cooperating with SMK Group for a long time, including by providing regular medical check-ups for its employees. Recently, an employee working as a loader at the «Saltivskyi Meat Processing Plant» at a production site located in the city of Bohodukhiv was diagnosed with aortic valve stenosis with insufficiency. Doctors insisted that surgery was necessary. The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation joined the treatment process. The aortic valve replacement surgery was personally performed by Borys Todurov, Director General of the Heart Institute.
