The “Halychanka” handball club, sponsored by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, played its first match of the new EHF European Cup season

The players from the Lviv club faced the Spanish team “Replasa Beti-Onak” away in the 1/32 stage of the tournament.

Throughout the match, both teams played on equal terms, alternately taking the lead. “Halychanka” fought for victory until the end but eventually lost by just one goal — 26:25 in favor of the Spanish side.

On October 4, in the Polish city of Biłgoraj, “Halychanka” will play the return leg.

Recently, an employee working as a loader at the «Saltivskyi Meat Processing Plant» at a production site located in the city of Bohodukhiv was diagnosed with aortic valve stenosis with insufficiency. Doctors insisted that surgery was necessary. The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation joined the treatment process. The aortic valve replacement surgery was personally performed by Borys Todurov, Director General of the Heart Institute.
