Thanks to the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, two modern sensory rooms have been opened at the Regional Clinical Center for Medical Rehabilitation and Palliative Care for Children “Hippocrates”
This will help improve the provision of modern rehabilitation services for children with disabilities and developmental delays.
Throughout the year, more than 800 children from the Kharkiv region and the country’s temporarily occupied territories receive rehabilitation and palliative care at the Center.
The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation fully funded the purchase of all the necessary equipment for the sensory rooms: a frame dry pool, a corner bubble column, a sensory colorful light mosaic wall, a sensory jellyfish, a light therapy shower, as well as an air conditioner for the large sensory room.
In addition, the Center’s specialists received two laptops for the mobile palliative care team, enabling functional diagnostics to be carried out at the homes of seriously ill patients.
Previously, the Foundation equipped a shelter at the Hippocrates Center and also purchased a large amount of rehabilitation and medical equipment.

Thanks to the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, a series of first aid training sessions for employees of Kharkiv’s housing and utilities sector is continuing
This time, the training was attended by representatives of the Municipal Enterprise “Zhytlokomservice.” The courses enabled them to acquire completely new skills that will help them provide first aid to injured people when necessary. Employees of the enterprise are very often part of emergency response teams that deal with the aftermath of critical situations in the city. In such moments, people with various injuries need a tourniquet applied as quickly as possible, wound packing performed, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) administered. All these types of first aid are covered during the training sessions conducted by experienced specialists from the EAST Tactical Medical Center.
