Denys Paramonov: Bohodukhiv Hospital Provided with an Automatic Analyzer to Significantly Improve Diagnostic Quality
Bohodukhiv Central District Hospital has been equipped with an automatic hematology analyzer. The device was donated by philanthropist Denys Paramonov, giving doctors the opportunity to provide patients with accurate diagnoses.
Bohodukhiv Central District Hospital had long required updated diagnostic systems for blood testing. However, due to the high cost of such equipment, the medical institution was unable to purchase it on its own. The hospital’s management could only rely on charitable support — and philanthropist Denys Paramonov responded to the request by providing the central district hospital in Bohodukhiv with an automatic hematology analyzer.
This device enables fast and highly accurate automated complete blood count testing in medical laboratories. It also reduces reagent costs and offers extremely high productivity. Most importantly, with this analyzer, doctors will be able to make precise diagnoses based on blood test results.
“For me, it is a great honor to present these analyzers to the district hospital today. I’m convinced that supporting medical institutions is an investment in people’s health and in the future of our community. Modern equipment enables doctors to establish diagnoses faster and more accurately, and allows patients to receive timely and high-quality care. Businesses, philanthropists, and the community must join forces to advance healthcare. We will always lend a helping hand during such a difficult time for the country.” said philanthropist Denys Paramonov.
According to the director of Bohodukhiv Central District Hospital, Oksana Syzonenko, the analyzer will help reduce the workload of the hospital’s laboratory staff.
“This means we will be able to serve more people with testing and make examinations more efficient while using fewer personnel. We are very grateful to the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation. This assistance is extremely important to us because, as of today, despite having 23 contracts signed with the National Health Service of Ukraine, our funding is only sufficient to cover salaries and the purchase of medicines,” the hospital director noted.
In turn, Bohodukhiv Mayor Volodymyr Bielyi also thanked the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation for the equipment provided, adding that there are always challenges to address in the healthcare sector.
“There is always some equipment lacking. In this case, the analyzer provided today by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation will help our medical workers and doctors perform their duties. It improves treatment conditions and speeds up the process by enabling accurate diagnoses,” Volodymyr Bielyi emphasized.
It is worth noting that recently the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation also provided the Regional Clinical Center for Medical Rehabilitation and Palliative Care for Children “Hippocrates” in Kharkiv with specialized doors for its X-ray room and protective aprons for patients to ensure they can safely undergo radiography.
