As early as April, the Heart Institute will receive modern medical equipment from the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation
This includes a CATSmart system for continuous autotransfusion of blood, along with a starter kit (10 sets), valued at over 3 million UAH. This German-made system is critically important during and after surgeries, as it effectively purifies the patient’s blood.
The Director of the Heart Institute, Borys Todurov, has already personally expressed his gratitude to philanthropist Denys Paramonov and his Foundation for purchasing such essential equipment.
«Denys Paramonov and his Foundation have been supporting us, the medical community, for many years by providing necessary consumables, medical equipment, and devices that truly save lives. At the Heart Institute, a significant amount of equipment—both in the pediatric intensive care unit and in operating rooms—has been donated by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation», — Borys Todurov said.
As a reminder, the Foundation has already supplied the Heart Institute with a Japanese-made video gastroscope and video bronchoscope worth nearly 5 million UAH, as well as an ultrasound machine valued at over 2 million UAH. In addition, the intensive care unit received a powerful EcoFlow charging station.
