As part of its '100 Books for 100 Libraries of Ukraine' programme, the Denys Paramonov Foundation sent a new book, named 'Skovoroda in the City of Wisdom Zakharpolis', to more than a hundred libraries across the country. The publication tells the story of Kharkiv in the second half of the 18th century, when the Ukrainian philosopher Hryhorii Skovoroda lived in the city. The book gives a detailed description of exactly where Hryhorii Savych lived, with whom and where he used to meet.
The books were sent to libraries in large cities and villages in the following regions: Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Zakarpattia, Poltava, Kyiv, Dnipro, Rivne, Odesa, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy and Lviv.
To receive a new book about Hryhorii Skovoroda, please send a private message to the Denys Paramonov Foundation's Facebook page. Publications are distributed to libraries only.
Ours
Last year, the Foundation also contributed to this important initiative. In just a few days, around 40 children will travel from Kharkiv to a picturesque mountainous area in the Lviv region, where they will take part in a psychophysical rehabilitation program.
Ours
At present, this is extremely important, as representatives of the housing and utility sector, especially members of emergency response teams, regularly respond to calls in critical situations.
Sport
The Bilyaivka Spring Cup has come to an end, bringing together more than 25 teams from across the Odesa region as part of the 8v8 Children's and Youth Football League.
