During the event, all those involved in publishing discussed the challenges and achievements in promoting Ukrainian books.
The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation consistently initiates the publication of books dedicated to outstanding Ukrainians. In particular, our focus is on figures such as Hryhorii Skovoroda and Hryhorii Kvitka-Osnovianenko. A significant part of the editions published with the Foundation’s support are donated free of charge to libraries.
At the conference, special attention was given to a unique project that helps promote Ukrainian books abroad — “Libraries as Sisters: Ukraine – United Kingdom.” Within this initiative, books published with the Foundation’s support were delivered, which contributed to the opening of a Mini Ukrainian Library in the city of Weston. Now, Ukrainians living there can visit the local Campus Library, where a special section is dedicated to Ukrainian literature. The Foundation also received words of gratitude from the Campus for donating Ukrainian books to their library.
