The performance of the opera «The Pearl Fishers» by Georges Bizet continues at the Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater
Its premiere took place at the end of May. The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation is a permanent sponsor of the Kharkiv Opera. Ihor Tuluzov, Director General of KhNATOB, thanked the Foundation for its support, noting that without it, it would be very difficult to make new productions at all.
In turn, costume designer Jani Egve says that during the preparation of the performance «The Pearl Fishers», the idea was to make everything in a more fairytale-like version, and thanks to various decoration methods, it was possible to create all the characters' costumes, which caused real admiration among the audience. The performance "The Pearl Fishers" allows the viewer to fully feel the exposed feelings of the characters and all their experiences and fears, and the price of choice is tightly woven into the storyline.
