The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation has provided the Municipal Non-Commercial Enterprise “Regional Clinical Center for Medical Rehabilitation and Palliative Care for Children ‘Hippocrates’” in Kharkiv with everything necessary for the operation of its X-ray room. This will make it possible to provide a wide range of medical services for children.
Following a request from the management of the Hippocrates Center, modern doors for the X-ray room were purchased and installed for the medical facility. In addition, patients were provided with a special protective apron to ensure they do not receive excessive radiation exposure during X-ray examinations. There was also an urgent need to supply the Hippocrates Center with construction materials, specifically special-purpose boards, in order to continue renovation work at the facility. The Foundation supplied the Center with these materials as well.
“We have long been a reliable partner of the Hippocrates Children’s Rehabilitation Center. Children with disabilities and developmental disorders undergo rehabilitation here. Our support enables the continuous improvement of the quality of medical services, creating all the necessary conditions for the Center to be one of the most advanced in Ukraine. And the greatest gratitude for our care is the ongoing improvement in the quality of life of the young patients of Hippocrates and their families,” said philanthropist and founder of the charity foundation, Denys Paramonov.
In turn, the Director of the Hippocrates Center, Roman Marabian, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, emphasizing that thanks to this support it was possible to equip a very modern X-ray room that meets all radiation protection requirements.
“We purchased the best radiation-protective drywall available in Ukraine, as well as high-quality doors with enhanced protection. All of this allowed us to equip such a modern room. Examinations will be carried out using specialized X-ray equipment that meets all modern standards. I believe that our X-ray room will be one of the best in the Kharkiv region, and perhaps even in Ukraine, in terms of the tasks facing our center, our team, and our patients. Therefore, we are very grateful. The availability of a license and an X-ray room will help us obtain permits to provide modern inpatient services for children who require palliative care,” said Roman Marabian.
It should be recalled that in the summer of 2025, thanks to the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, modern heating radiators were installed at the Hippocrates Center to heat the premises during the cold season. Previously, the Foundation also fulfilled a long-standing dream of Hippocrates specialists and their patients by donating an interactive board, enabling children to undergo rehabilitation using modern methods.
It should also be noted that as part of its HEALTHY programme, the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation has already provided various medical equipment to more than 750 hospitals across all regions of Ukraine.
