Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital receives ophthalmological equipment thanks to Denys Paramonov Foundation
Every year, the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital treats more than 13,000 children of all ages.
Recently, the hospital's management asked the Denys Paramonov Foundation for help in providing ophthalmological equipment.
"This children's hospital specializes in the treatment of children with acute and chronic pathologies on an in-patient and out-patient basis. We immediately agreed to help. We purchased two retinoscopes and batteries, two direct ophthalmoscopes, a special lens for indirect ophthalmoscopy and a trial frame. This will help to diagnose and treat visual impairment and eye diseases in children in a timely manner,"- in the Denys Paramonov Foundation noted.
The total cost of the equipment is almost 190,000 UAH. It was purchased thanks to the Tesla for Donation campaign initiated by philanthropist Denys Paramonov.
This enabled to purchase the equipment for 10 hospitals at once, and it has already been delivered to the healthcare facilities.
