On March 19, a key event for Kharkiv took place — the first Charity Forum “Partnership for Life: Government, Community, Charity.” The event attracted significant attention from regional leaders, including Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Head of the Kharkiv Regional Council Tetiana Yehorova-Lutsenko. They expressed their gratitude to philanthropist Denys Paramonov for dedicating substantial effort and resources to charity work. During the forum, Denys Paramonov presented the development strategy of his Charity Foundation for the next two years. For instance, assistance will be provided to 100 hospitals across the country. Plans also include opening a rowing school in Kharkiv similar to the one established in Bila Tserkva. In addition, new boxing clubs will be launched in Kharkiv and Bila Tserkva, allowing children to train in their favorite sport completely free of charge. According to the strategy, a new tourist attraction will also be created in the Kharkiv region — a cultural and educational space based in the historic area of Kadnytsia.

Throughout March, together with partners, the Foundation supplied 12 medical institutions across various regions of Ukraine with essential materials and medical equipment. Future plans have also been outlined: in April, the Foundation will provide the Heart Institute with a CATSmart system for continuous autotransfusion of blood, which is crucial for patients during and after surgery. The cost of this equipment exceeds 3 million UAH. Additionally, the Voloshyn Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Narcology in Kharkiv will receive a modern patient monitor.

As part of the “OURS” programme, nearly 6,000 hot meals were distributed over the month to residents of the Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv. This initiative helped support the most vulnerable groups of citizens in need of care and assistance. The Foundation also made the Administrative Services Center in the Hrebinka community of the Kyiv region energy-independent. This facility operates a “Point of Invincibility,” which local residents can use when needed.

To celebrate the Spring Holiday, a concert was organized at the House of Culture in the village of Shchaslyve. The festive programme created a joyful spring atmosphere for all local residents. In addition, the Foundation contributed to organizing an event for Housing and Communal Services Workers’ Day, which took place at the Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre for municipal workers of the Nemyshlianskyi district. The Foundation also funded a trip for the children’s cheerleading team “Kharkiv Stars” to compete in the Czech Republic.

Support for families of prisoners of war in Mykolaiv continues. During March, their children learned stained glass painting techniques and how to create paper bears, while the wives of prisoners learned how to bake bento cakes. These activities were held in cooperation with the Regional Center of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

Besides, the Foundation also continues to support and develop sports initiatives. Hanna Okhota from the “SMK-SPORT” boxing club, fully funded by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, won silver at the A-class International Tournament “STRANDJA 2026” held in Sofia, Bulgaria. In addition, Hanna Okhota and Maryna Shevchenko from “SMK-SPORT,” as part of the Ukrainian national team, competed in a tournament in Montenegro. Other athletes from “SMK-SPORT” also achieved excellent results, winning prizes at competitions in Sumy and the Kharkiv region. Meanwhile, the choreographic ensemble “Surprise,” also funded by the Foundation, won a prize at an arts festival-competition in Poltava. A student of the rowing school in Bila Tserkva earned a bronze medal at competitions in Khmelnytskyi, highlighting the high level of training. Thanks to the Foundation, young rowers are also currently attending a training camp in preparation for the new season.
