Tactical medical training launched at the initiative of Denys Paramonov Foundation
The first to undergo training were police officers from the Kharkiv region, who often find themselves in critical situations.
As a result, the law enforcement officers improved their skills. They learned what types of bleeding exist and how to stop them. Besides, they now know what types of turnstiles exist and how to use them effectively.
In addition, the course taught them how to save a person in case of sudden cardiac arrest or loss of consciousness, etc.
“Together with the EAST Tactical Medical Center, we launched this project to teach first aid to as many Ukrainians as possible. It is very important that the training includes not only theory, but also practice of the skills learned. Now the Kharkiv police officers who have completed the course will be able to provide quality first aid to citizens in case of accidents. In the future, such courses will be offered to anyone interested, with priority given to members of the so-called critical professions.” – in the Foundation noted.
