Boxers from SMK-SPORT club, trained under the patronage of Denys Paramonov Foundation, won prizes in the competition

Over the weekend, the open boxing championship of the Poltava Children's and Youth Sports School was held for boys born in 2008-2014. In addition, boxers from the Kharkiv SMK-SPORT club, which operates under the patronage of the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation took part in the competition.

“Most of our club's students had their first fights at this level of competition,” - Ruslan Holovenko, the club's coach tells. “In total, our club was represented by eight boxers, five of whom won first place and three came second. It was a unique opportunity for our boxers to fight at this level and they gained great experience”.

According to the coach, his wards are looking forward to new challenges and will participate in similar competitions in the future.

Thanks to the Denys Paramonov Foundation, there are three sections in the Kharkiv region where children can box for free under the guidance of experienced coaches and sports masters. Appointments must be made in advance by telephone. In Kharkiv, the club is located at 59-A Tobolska Street (+380662220807), in the village of Horkoho in the Bohodukhiv district, the club operates at 2-A Kozatska Street (+0663343204) and in Bohodukhiv at 15 Troitska Street (+380633673247).
