Children from Bila Tserkva rowing school, supported by Denys Paramonov Foundation, win first medals in regional competition
Recently, a rowing competition for the Kyiv Region Cup was held, where young rowers from the sports school run by the Denys Paramonov Foundation in Bila Tserkva took part. In total, about 100 children from all over the Kyiv region took part in the competition. The rowing school in Bila Tserkva was represented by 12 young athletes.
"Our students performed very well, winning five medals at once - three gold and two bronze. In fact, these are the first medals that children from our rowing section have won at regional level. So, we will continue to work hard to win more. " - says Ihor Harmash, Honoured Coach of Ukraine, who trains children in Bila Tserkva.
According to Ihor Harmash, the rowing competition will be held in Bila Tserkva at the end of September.

Less than a year has passed since the opening of the rowing section in Bila Tserkva and its pupils are already winning such important competitions.
