Ukrainian champion Khrystyna Yushchuk trains at the SMK SPORT boxing club in Sumy.
From now on, all the club's boxers will train and compete in the new ring.
“Today we are making great efforts to develop sport in Ukraine. The SMK SPORT boxing club in Sumy is a prime example. Around 40 children train here free of charge. Khrystyna Yushchuk, the Ukrainian boxing champion, also trains there. We support her in every way and here she prepares for various competitions. That is why we decided to buy a new professional ring for the SMK SPORT boxing club in Sumy. Ukraine is already known worldwide for its boxers and I am sure that the new ring will help us to hear the names of those who train here at the World Championships and beyond,” - Denys Paramonov noted.
According to coach Vitalii Volovyk, the new ring, donated by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, will significantly improve the training process.
“We used to have an old, home-made ring. This is a professional ring and I am sure that it will allow us to create a real talent factory in our boxing club,” - Vitalii Volovyk told.
