The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation is making every effort to open a rowing centre for children in Bila Tserkva in the near future.
For this purpose, the building of the former Zmina Sports School for Children and Youth is being reconstructed. It is located on the banks of the River Ros. The building was in a dilapidated state, but the Foundation's efforts helped to restore it and even carry out interior finishing works. The reconstructed building will have a gym, a room for coaches, changing rooms, a kitchen, showers and guest rooms.
“It will be a modern rowing centre where children can practice their favourite sport, rowing, free of charge. Sport is the best panacea for all the problems in Ukraine today. At the same time, even though the centre is not yet open, the children of the rowing section are already in full swing to keep fit. We are doing our best to help them,” - philanthropist Denys Paramonov summed up.
