Rowing section in Bila Tserkva receives first batch of boats from Denys Paramonov Foundation
The Denys Paramonov Foundation has donated four kayaks and canoes to the Bila Tserkva Rowing Section, so that children can practice their favourite sport. Two motorized boats were also provided for the coaches to keep an eye on the children during training. The total cost of these boats is almost 300,000 UAH.
“A total of 18 training boats have been ordered and four have already been handed over to young athletes. We will hand over the boats to the section as soon as they are manufactured. It is our intention to be a part of the development of free children's sports.” - in the Foundation noted.
The opening of the rowing season in Bila Tserkva has already begun.
“We are very grateful to the Denys Paramonov Foundation for developing children's sports. If we take our rowing section, it is thanks to the Foundation that children can train in quality conditions,” - emphasizes Ihor Harmash, Honoured Coach of Ukraine, who trains children in the rowing section.
