The Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation celebrates its fifth anniversary today. Over the past five years, the Foundation has implemented more than 100 social, medical, cultural, educational, and sports projects across Ukraine.

To celebrate this milestone, the Foundation is launching a new initiative — a series of short video stories spotlighting the individuals without whom the Foundation’s daily work for the good of the country would not be possible.

“Our Foundation isn’t about statistics. It’s about people — those who carry the country on their shoulders every single day: in operating rooms, gyms, schools, libraries, and theaters. We want them to be seen, heard, and thanked,” — says Denys Paramonov, founder of the Foundation.

The video series features Ukrainians who are changing the country for the better. Among the heroes: Borys Todurov, a cardiac surgeon who saves lives; Boxers Khrystyna Yushchuk, Hanna Okhota, and Yuliia Stupakova, who bring international victories and pride to Ukrainian sport; World champion in Cossack wrestling Artem Brantsyra; Local historian and journalist Andrii Paramonov, who preserves cultural heritage; Ihor Tuluzov, director of the Kharkiv Opera and Ballet Theatre (KhNATOB); Anton Zhilyakov, artistic director of the “Tymur” Theater; Mykhailo Reva, honored artist of Ukraine — and many other Guides of Goodness.

The stories will appear regularly on the Foundation’s official pages. This new series continues the Foundation’s core mission — not to receive, but to give.

Over its five years, the Denys Paramonov Foundation has provided assistance to over 16,000 families and supplied nearly 1,000 hospitals with medical equipment and other essential supplies. In 2024, the Foundation ranked among the Top 5 largest charitable organizations in Ukraine supporting healthcare facilities nationwide. The Foundation is also known for its high-profile car raffles, including a Bentley and a Tesla, personally initiated by philanthropist Denys Paramonov. These campaigns raised over 4.7 million UAH, which was used to purchase vital medical equipment for hospitals.
