These are not the first such classes held at the depot, and each time it becomes possible to train even more of its employees.
One of the key parts of the courses is learning how to apply a tourniquet.
Currently, all trolleybus drivers in Kharkiv have such devices so that, if necessary, they can save an injured person’s life.
However, only the correct technique for using tourniquets ensures the desired result; otherwise, they can even cause harm.
Therefore, experienced instructors from the EAST Tactical Medical Center share all of their expertise with the trainees so that they can provide the necessary assistance to victims even before an ambulance arrives.
In addition, the courses teach participants how to act properly when a person has a broken leg or other injuries, or is suffering from massive bleeding.
They also provide training in restoring breathing and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

The Burevisnyk Children and Youth Sports School of Academic Rowing is located in the capital, where it trains future athletes for the Kyiv and Ukrainian national teams. The school requires an uninterrupted power supply during large-scale electricity outages. The management of Burevisnyk approached the Foundation with a request for assistance.
