How to restore breathing and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), or stop massive bleeding — these are the skills that employees of Trolleybus Depot №3 in Kharkiv have learned
The first aid courses were organized by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation. Instructors from the EAST Tactical Medical Center shared all their experience with the trainees so that they would be able to provide first aid even before an ambulance arrives.
Today, every trolleybus driver in Kharkiv has a tourniquet. Special attention during the courses was paid to how to apply it correctly in a critical situation. In addition, the depot employees now know how to act when an injured person has a fractured limb or other serious injuries.
