Kharkiv gas service specialists trained in tactical medicine thanks to Denys Paramonov Foundation
The programme of tactical medical training for critical workers, organized by the Denys Paramonov Foundation in cooperation with the EAST Tactical Medical Center, continues.
This time the recipients of the training were employees of the Kharkiv gas service.
Gas workers are particularly exposed to hazards, so it makes sense for them to know how to provide first aid to victims in case of an emergency.
"Certainly, gas workers know the basics of first aid, but the tactical first aid course has significantly expanded their knowledge. Now every gas worker who has been trained will be able to provide quality first aid to anyone who needs it." - in the Denys Paramonov Foundation noted.
In particular, the training covered all types of possible bleeding and way to stop it, as well as how to rescue a person in case of loss of consciousness.
The course also provided an opportunity to learn CPR and how to deal with hypothermia.
On completion of the tactical first aid course, all gas service staff received certificates.
