President of the Ukrainian Association of Football Andrii Shevchenko Awards Philanthropist Denys Paramonov with Honorary Certificate for Developing Football in Kharkiv Region
The head of the Ukrainian Association of Football, Andrii Shevchenko, awarded philanthropist Denys Paramonov, President of FC “NIKA SMK,” with honorary certificate. UAF officials highly praised the benefactor’s contribution to the development of football in the Kharkiv region.
The ceremonial event took place at the Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after M.V. Lysenko, where the regular conference of the Kharkiv Regional Association of Football was held.
The honorary certificate from the Ukrainian Association of Football, signed by Andrii Shevchenko, was personally presented to Denys Paramonov by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration and Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Association of Football, Oleh Syniehubov. The award states that Denys Paramonov made a significant personal contribution to the development and popularization of football in the Kharkiv region.
In 2025, FC “NIKA SMK,” led by the philanthropist as its president, delivered outstanding results, winning gold medals in the Kharkiv Region Football Championship. For the team from Bohodukhiv, this was the first championship title in its history.
“I am very pleased to receive this award! This is an award for the entire team — the coaches and the players. Last year, the team won gold medals in the Kharkiv Region Football Championship for the first time in its history. I thank everyone for this! — said philanthropist Denys Paramonov. — As the owner of SMK Group, I want to say that our company always sets ambitious goals and always achieves them. The same approach defines our team ‘NIKA SMK,’ where I serve as president — always striving forward for the highest honors. ‘NIKA SMK’ demonstrates a high and consistent level of performance, and I am proud to be the founder of such a team.”
In addition to Oleh Syniehubov, the event was also attended by the General Secretary of the Ukrainian Association of Football, Ihor Hryshchenko, and the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Tetiana Yehorova-Lutsenko.
It is worth noting that in December 2025, philanthropist and founder of the charity foundation bearing his name, Denys Paramonov, was awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of the Bohodukhiv City Territorial Community.” The award was personally presented to the benefactor by Bohodukhiv Mayor Volodymyr Bielyi. The Bohodukhiv City Council emphasized that Denys Paramonov consistently supports and develops the community’s infrastructure and various social initiatives.
