The last month of summer was rich in good deeds done by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation.
Ukrainian hospitals continued to receive medical equipment purchased with funds from the 'Tesla for Donation' campaign initiated by philanthropist Denys Paramonov. In particular, the Poltava Regional Hospital now has an audiometer worth almost 250,000 UAH to diagnose patients' hearing disorders. At the same time, the Cherkasy Regional Children's Hospital received an intraocular pressure tonometer and an electric ophthalmoscope worth 200,000 UAH. All of this will significantly improve the quality of medical services provided to patients. In addition, almost 50 hospitals in Ukraine received medical equipment and consumables in August with the support of the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation. These are medical institutions in Volyn, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Dnipro, Donetsk regions and Kyiv.
Many events took place in the sports sector, which the Foundation supports and actively develops. For instance, FC NIKA SMK, whose president is philanthropist and businessman Denys Paramonov, took the lead in the Kharkiv Football Championship in August. As well as leading the table, NIKA SMK have also scored the most goals and continue to crush their rivals.
At the same time, pupils from the Foundation-supported SMK SPORT club won the Champions League in boxing. The Ukrainian champion, Khrystyna Yushchuk, attended two training camps in the Carpathian Mountains with the support of the Foundation. In this way, she is preparing for an international competition in Poland in September.
Thanks to the Foundation, the reconstruction of the rowing school building in Bila Tserkva has reached the finish line. In the near future, the reconstructed building will have a sports hall, a room for coaches, locker rooms, a kitchen, showers and guest rooms.
Many cultural events took place in August under the auspices of the Foundation. For instance, the exhibition 'Kharkiv by Skovoroda in Portraits and Cityscapes' was opened on the initiative of the Foundation. Everything presented in the exhibition is related to Hryhorii Skovoroda, who visited Kharkiv in the 18th century. For example, the panorama of Kharkiv in 1759, the year of Hryhorii Skovoroda's first visit to the city, which he liked very much, will certainly be of interest to the visitors of the exhibition. The book 'Skovoroda in the City of Wisdom Zacharpolis', published with the support of the Foundation, was presented on the occasion of Kharkiv Day. The book tells about the unknown Kharkiv of philosopher Hryhorii Skovoroda's time. Incidentally, all the engravings and drawings of the city from almost 300 years ago included in the book are also presented at the exhibition in honour of Kharkiv and Skovoroda.
