The last month of autumn has come and gone quickly. During this time, the Denys Paramonov Foundation managed to do a lot within its programmes.
Much attention was paid to the HEALTHY programme. For instance, the L. T. Malaya Therapy National Institute in Kharkiv received equipment worth 300,00 UAH for the intensive care unit. This includes two oxygen concentrators, a defibrillator monitor and a portable electrocardiograph. This will significantly improve the quality of medical care for patients and facilitate the work of doctors. Kharkiv City Clinical Hospital №8 was also equipped with a temporary pacemaker to save patients. With the Foundation's support, one of the hospitals in Ivano-Frankivsk received an artificial kidney machine that will save hundreds of lives. Thanks to the Foundation, paramedic stations and outpatient clinics in the villages of Krysyne, Sazono-Balanivka and Petropavlivka are already using new equipment donated earlier. In total, the Foundation managed to help almost ten hospitals across the country in November.
The Denys Paramonov Foundation is ranked as one of the top 5 charity organizations, supporting hospitals in Ukraine the most. To date, the Foundation has provided various medical equipment and consumables to more than 650 hospitals across Ukraine.
In November, the Foundation, cooperation with the EAST Tactical Medical Center, launched first-aid training. Currently, members of critical professions can receive tactical medical training free of charge. Police officers and educators from the Kharkiv region were the first to attend the first aid course. All of them received certificates after learning how to save people in critical situations. The programme of tactical medicine will be continued in the future as well.
A number of positive events took place in November within the framework of the SPORT programme launched by the Foundation. FC NIKA SMK, whose president is philanthropist Denys Paramonov, became vice-champion of the Kharkiv Football Championship. The team from Bohodukhiv scored the most goals in the Regional Football Championship - 80.
The pupils of the rowing school in Bila Tserkva, which operates thanks to the Foundation, underwent a training camp in order to successfully compete in various competitions in the future. The school's coaches, Olena Skvortsova and Mykola Verkhovetskyi, won gold medals at international competitions in the Philippines.
Artem Brantsyra, who lives in Kharkiv and is sponsored by the Foundation, won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the World Cossack Fighting Championship. Artem regularly wins prizes at tournaments both in Ukraine and worldwide. Meanwhile, Elvira Kiske, who represents the SMK-SPORT boxing club in Kharkiv, won a bronze medal at the 2011-2012 Ukrainian Championship Women. In general, representatives of SMK-SPORT boxing clubs operating in Kharkiv, Sumy, Bohodukhiv and the village of Horkoho in Kharkiv region regularly win medals at national competitions.
In November, the Kharkiv Professional Sports College received a set of professional footballs from the Foundation and the SMK Group. This is not the first time the Foundation has helped this sports institution, where many children train.
