See what good deeds the Denys Paramonov Foundation has been up to in October (VIDEO)
The second month of autumn has come and gone quite quickly. During this time, the Denys Paramonov Foundation managed to do a lot within its projects.
One of the Foundation's priorities is medical care. As part of the HEALTHY programme, the Scientific and Practical Medical Centre for Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in Kyiv received expensive equipment - a central monitoring system worth over 500,000 UAH, which helps to monitor 16 patients at the same time. The Children's Clinical Hospital of St. Zinaida in Sumy received rehabilitation equipment worth over 130,000 UAH. The young patients now have a massage rehabilitation table, 10 special rehabilitation mats and a set for assessing hand function. All this was purchased thanks to the 'Tesla for Donation' campaign initiated by philanthropist Denys Paramonov. In total, the campaign helped to provide expensive equipment worth more than 2 million UAH to 10 children's healthcare institutions in different parts of the country. In addition, we provided the necessary furniture for paramedic stations in the villages of Sazono-Balanivka, Petropavlivka and Krysyne, which significantly improved the quality of medical services for patients and made the work of local doctors easier.
Specialists from the Institute for Endocrine Pathology Problems examined the staff of the Denys Paramonov Foundation. They thanked the Foundation for donating mobile stair transporters to the Institute to facilitate the movement of patients within the medical institution. Employees of the Saltovskiy Meat Processing Plant, a regular and reliable partner of the Denys Paramonov Foundation, also underwent health checks. In total, the Foundation provided various equipment to a dozen hospitals in the Dnipro, Kharkiv, Poltava, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. Besides, we provided a range of equipment to frontline hospitals in Donetsk, Dnipro and Chernihiv regions.
For the second year in a row, the Denys Paramonov Foundation participated in the Kharkiv Prayer Breakfast.
Much was done in October under the SPORT programme launched by the Foundation. Under the auspices of the Foundation, the Bila Tserkva Open Rowing Championship was held. Athletes from all over Ukraine and children from the Bila Tserkva Rowing School, which operates thanks to the Foundation took part in it. Boxers of the SMK-SPORT club continue to win various competitions. In October they took part in the Championships of Kharkiv and Sumy regions, winning 8 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals. SMK-SPORT boxer Mykyta Kolesnik will represent Sumy region in the Ukrainian Championship thanks to his victory in the Sumy Junior Championship. Khrystyna Yushchuk, a boxer from SMK-SPORT Sumy, took second place in the Ukrainian Boxing Cup. In turn, Artem Brantsyra from Kharkiv won two first places, three second places and one third place at the World Kickboxing Championships. The competition was held in Italy and Artem travelled there with the support of the Denys Paramonov Foundation. FC NIKA SMK, whose president is philanthropist Denys Paramonov, is a leader of the Kharkiv Football Championship.
Besides, the Foundation helped to renovate the art room in the Kharkiv Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity. More than 3,200 children receive out-of-school education there. More than 1,000 libraries from almost all regions of Ukraine received over 5,000 books published at the Foundation's initiative.
