Rescuers from the Kharkiv Regional State Emergency Service have improved their skills to better save people.
This is thanks to the Denys Paramonov Foundation's Tactical Medicine Training Programme for Emergency Medical Technicians.
Highly qualified specialists from the EAST Tactical Medical Center run the courses.
"It is very important that it is the rescuers who attend the tactical medicine courses. Certainly, they are trained to provide first aid to victims and are usually the first to arrive at emergency calls. But new knowledge of tactical medicine and advanced techniques will only help to improve the skills of SES personnel," - in the Denys Paramonov Foundation told.
Correct and effective use of turnstiles, tamponade of wounds, emergency assistance in case of cardiac arrest, opening of the airways in case of drowning - this is only a partial list of all the Tacoma techniques that the Kharkiv region rescuers have undergone.
Ours
Charity became part of my life gradually. As my business grew, I began supporting people whenever I saw a need—providing direct assistance, helping athletes, and backing cultural initiatives. At first, these efforts were occasional rather than systematic. There was no long-term strategy, no structured programs or clear priorities. But the scale of our support kept growing, and eventually it became clear that it was time to build something more. That happened in 2020. On July 30, I founded the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation.
Our news
Despite the ongoing security threats in Kyiv, the Center’s highly skilled medical team continues to fight for the lives and health of the most critically ill patients, ensuring uninterrupted treatment and diagnostic care. The hospital’s management asked the Foundation to provide external protective shutters for the building’s windows.
Sport
The intensive program allows them to sharpen their skills as they prepare for the Ukrainian Youth Canoe Sprint Championships.
