The classes are conducted by experienced instructors from the East Tactical Medical Center. Thanks to these courses, more and more representatives of critical professions are acquiring the skills needed to provide first aid to injured people before emergency medical services arrive. Today, this is especially important, as the situation in the Kharkiv region unfortunately remains quite dangerous.
After completing the first aid training, employees of Trolleybus Depot №3 are now able to properly apply a tourniquet and stop severe bleeding. During the summer season, it is also essential to know how to provide first aid in cases of drowning, and this is included in the course programme. Participants additionally learn how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), restore circulation, and help stabilize a person's condition.
