A large-scale rowing tournament — the Open Championship of Kyiv Region — was held in Bila Tserkva, bringing together over 200 athletes from all corners of the region as well as from Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr

The Bila Tserkva rowing school team, funded by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, was represented by a number of its trainees.

All of them delivered outstanding performances across various distances, which ultimately enabled the boys and girls to claim first places in their respective categories. Gold was also won in the mixed event.

“We congratulate our champions on their victories at such a prestigious competition! We are proud to be directly involved in these brilliant results. We have fully restored and are actively developing the Youth Sports School ‘Zmina’ in Bila Tserkva, where the rowing school’s trainees now train and where such vibrant tournaments as the Kyiv Region Championship take place. Spectators — of whom there were many — were treated to a pleasant surprise in the form of tasty treats prepared by our reliable partner, Kyiv Meat Processing Plant. The sports festival in Bila Tserkva was a success!” - in the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation noted.

The competition brought together almost 600 of the best athletes from all corners of the country, including 20 representatives of the school from Bila Tserkva — the trip to the tournament was fully funded by the Foundation.
