A rower from the SMK-SPORT club, which is fully funded by the Denys Paramonov Charity Foundation, has won a silver medal at a prestigious competition
The achievement came at the European Canoe Marathon Championships, which are currently taking place in Romania.
Nikol Matnenko claimed second place in the 3.5 km canoe marathon event. On June 27, she will compete in the 11.5 km race. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for our champion! Meanwhile, the European Dragon Boat Championships will begin in Munich on July 4. The Ukrainian national junior team (ages 15–17) will include six rowers from the SMK-SPORT clubs in Bila Tserkva and Kharkiv.
